I can't think of anything else that shoul be running on 443. I don't have anything such as PhotoStation or a webserver running on my synology.
Changed the DNS on the AppleTV to point to my Synology which is running at 192.168.1.96. Installed the certificate on the AppleTV from step 1 (I've also tried this with my own generated certs). Changed ownership of all files to plexconnect.root. Edited settings to include the IP address of my PMS, changed to Port 443 and put the full path to the certificates. Copied over the settings files from the 2-1 install package. Did a git pull of the latest version of the package. I'm getting the dreaded "Trailers is unavailable. Normally I don't have any problems getting stuff like this done but this one is eluding me. Which makes me even more mad because I don't know why. The 'C' for certificates should be lower case.Īfter typing all this it started working. Certificate generated with Apple Configurator and uploaded to Apple TV and Synology matching the path in config file (5.)ĥ. DS412+ running DSM 4.3 and latest PMS version from ģ. PlexConnect installed with 0.1.5 package from page 1, then updated with the Git commandĢ. However, when I click on any of these sections, I get the Trailers Unavailable message.ġ. I can see the thumbnails of Movies, Music, TV Shows which is a very good sign i think. I'd like to ask for your help, as I only got PlexConnect half working. Why don't you change the "Settings.cfg" to manually assign the ip of your PMS and plexconnect?
